Cnc Machining Prototypes & Production Parts

Providing cnc prototype machined parts in metal, aligned with your needs. CNC machining services for precision parts in rapid prototyping 1 unit in quantity, low-volume, or high-volume market production parts requirements.

CNC Machining Types

CNC Milling

CNC milling involves using cutting tool to selectively remove raw material from a dedicated solid metal or plastic block to create final parts. This manufacturing method uses 3-4 axis milling and 5-axis indexed milling which moves or rotates on different planes that allow the tool to operate at many angles, constantly as the method continues.

Swiss CNC Machining

Swiss machine, and—also, goes by Swiss type lathe, and by Swiss automatization lathe, is a precision manufacturing machine, and works by feeding bar stock through a guide bushing. This firmly supports the material and can produce extremely small parts quickly and accurately. In conjunction to a traditional CNC lathe, material piece typically rotates rapidly in a fixed position and held firmly on either one or both ends. In relation to a Swiss lathe, material work piece chamber can either turn and move back and forth along the Z-axis while various cut tools remove the features of a part. Swiss machining could also, produce tight tolerances, more complex, and ready to ship prototype or production-ready parts. No need to perform secondary operations after machining is complete.

Metal Materials

  • Aluminum
  • Alloy Steels
  • Brass
  • Carbon Steel
  • Copper
  • Stainless Steel
  • Titanium
  • Tool Steel
  • + much more

CNC Turning

CNC turning process is a manufacturing method, which bar material is held in a chuck and rotated. During the process, a tool is fed to the workpiece to remove material and create the required shape. This is also called subtraction machining because it involves material removal. CNC lathes or turning centers have various types of tooling options with power and speed capabilities that affect the type of parts that can be economically made on them.

Common Applications

  • Prototype in material that’ll be use during production and viability of design.
  • Produce small and intricate parts.
  • Complex pieces that have no turned surfaces at all.

Wire EDM Machining

Wire EDM machining, is a high-precision process for cutting almost any electrically conductive material. The process works with a thin electrically charged EDM wire that are held between an upper and lower mechanical guide that form electrodes, while the material is being cut. Wire EDM, produce precision parts to match the dimensional tolerances of the designed part. In addition, with perfect accuracy and repeatability, prototypes, low-volume, or high-production volume precise parts are made at a rapid pace. Benefits of wire EDM machining, when highly accurate machining is needed. Options for making delicate and intricate parts. Square-edged internal cuts, difficult to produce with other machining processes.
